Friends, we did it!
We won. After months of organizing, talking to voters, and listening to our community we know without a doubt that voters are hungry for people-powered campaigns where organizing and community concerns take center stage. We knew when we started this campaign it would be about more than just one candidate running for office. I ran because I wanted to take the voice of my community, of our community, to Albany to make a real difference in the lives of working people.
I am so proud of the work we have done and what we have accomplished but we’re not done yet. The General Election will be close and we will need to rally one more time to make sure we stay true to our values and fight back against the special interests that undermine our democracy.
You have been with me since the beginning and I know you will be with me on Election Day in November. Thank you so much for your continued support and encouragement - we couldn’t have done it without you.
With deep gratitude,
