Today's mass shooting in Buffalo is devastating.
My heart and prayers go out to the families of those whose lives were taken today and the Buffalo community due to the vitriol of racism and white supremacy. We must all stand together and condemn this hateful act of violence and commit to pushing for justice. Racism is a disease and this tragedy is a painful reminder of the work that needs to be done to eradicate it in all forms in order to heal our communities.
